Every woman who joins a Sisters in Comfort session is asked to hold these principles:

  • Respect each woman's dignity.
  • Maintain confidentiality — what is shared in the space stays in the space.
  • Listen without judgment.
  • Avoid pressuring others to disclose more than they are comfortable sharing.
  • Do not give unqualified medical advice.
  • Honour differences in individual journeys.
  • Avoid recording or sharing session content.
  • Contact the organiser privately if you or someone else needs additional support.

Sisters in Comfort is not a crisis-response or professional counselling service. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental-health emergency, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.
